The Christian Approach to Building Self Worth
Your potential to achieve happiness, confidence, success, and so much more in life, depends on your self worth, or how much you value yourself. The importance and power of self worth cannot be underestimated.
Feelings of self worth do not always come easy, sometimes it takes daily reminders (such as the ones below), to continue feeling like we have worth, that we are valuable.
Christian Keys to Self Worth
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
- My worth is not based on my performance. My worth is an eternal gift from God.
- All of my mistakes have value through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
- When I make a mistake, I turn to the Light and live, no self-condemnation or self-punishment or toxic guilt or shame.
- I release all vain regret. I don’t have to blame myself or others or think things should have been different. We
know that all things are perfect for our growth. - I can choose how long I spend in spiritual darkness.
- I accept things just as they are with praise and without judgment.
- I am more important than things. I am more important than events. I am more important than any issue to my
